As mentioned earlier in previous releases, ALUKOV HZ, spol. s r.o. and IPC Team E.H.Z.S. participated in two major industry exhibitions which focused on swimming pools & accessories in October 2011.

Our models TROPEA NEO^TM, OLYMPIC^TM and VIVA^TM were presented at the Piscina Barcelona trade fair (Oct. 18-21) on a 140 m² stand, and the following week (Oct. 26-29) at the AQUANALE in Cologne, Germany on a 130 m² stand, which was also home to an ORLANDO^® unit.

Our most significant technical innovations for 2011 (EASY-UP and rounded-off profiles) were also presented at both trade shows. From a marketing point of view, traditional product catalogues & flyers, as well as new support materials (Piscina Newsletter and Aquanale Newsletter) were available for visitors in print versions. Both of these newsletters can be downloaded in pdf-format as follows:

As is traditionally the case, the trade shows were visited by industry professionals and also private pool owners from throughout the Europe.

On Saturday, June 25, 2011, the 6th regular annual general meeting grouping together 14 registered members of the European Economic Alliance known as Inter Pool Cover Team (IPC Team, E.E.I.G.) was held at company headquarters in Orel (CZ).

The meeting unanimously approved the financial statement for 2010, as well as the balanced economic budget proposal for 2011. It was also announced that, despite the tough economic situation encountered in 2009 - 2011, the group as a whole had managed to meet its ambitious strategic, commercial and financial targets - particularly as a result of the group’s emphasis on innovation and the use of state-of-the-art technology. Recently, latest generation swimming pool, spa and terrace/patio enclosures (3Seasons program), in terms of technology and design, have been launched on the market. By expanding our range of products and continuously focusing on innovation & design of our offering, we have managed to reach yet more clients, while expanding our own dealership network in many countries around the world. For example, we established such key (and difficult) markets as Germany and Austria; furthermore, we are also penetrating such far away markets Chilie, Brasil, India and Australia.

It was apparent among participants at the meeting that the individual members of the IPC Team have been quite active in carrying out the accompanying tasks assigned to them as regards web-marketing, the implementation of the unique G.O.A.L. (Global Online Application List), internet projects and the applied use of such standard advertising tools as fairs, magazines, newspapers ads, etc.

The General Meeting unanimously re-conducted the board positions of Mr. Jan Zitko (President) and Mr. Wieslaw Rygielski (Vice President).

The individual members of the IPC Team rated the preliminary operating results and the initial six months of work very highly and said they were convinced that, despite all the challenges, 2011 will overall once agin be a successful year!

From May 31st. to June 4th. IPC Team took part via Argentinian company Aluoest in the Batimat Expovivienda trade fair in Buenos Aires. Batimat Expovivienda comprises the most significant items as regards building and housing, floors, carpets and materials, bathrooms and kitchens, heating and refrigeration, pipes and accesories, construction site safety and protection equipment, swimming pools etc. This fair with its surface of 30.000sqm belongs to the very important Argentinian fairs.

The show gathered a diverse range of exhibitors in the building, construction, supplies and related services’ sector.

An important and varied Conference Program was held along with the exhibition, where people found the latest news, gained experience and knowledge of national and international trends of this industry.

Aluoest/IPC presented the Orlando model, which had a great success and it was one of the most original and innovative product of the exhibition.

On May 27-28, 2011, Alutherm Poland took part in the SPA & WELLNESS, 5th Equipment, Services and Facilities Fair in Krakow (Poland).  The so-called “Targi w Krakowie” is the third largest  exhibition center in Poland. The events staged there are attended by 80,000 visitors each year.

Alutherm presented and featured “The mobile Corso NEO™ enclosure model“.

Despite the fact that the fair lasted just 2 days, we feel Alutherm´s showing there to be very successful. The exhibiition was visited by both many business partners of Alutherm and potential clients.  The EASY-UP system and safety glass with Connex 33.1 film, a novelty hallmark, was a premiere presentation on the Polish market.

EASY-UP is the first fully integrated, upper-positioned locking system located at a height of about 60 to 90 centimeters above the ground. EASY-UP thus allows for more convenient handling of the segments (user-friendly), without having to bend over down towards the foot of the enclosure.
